I have always been attracted to the arts. The earliest story in my memory is coming home from school all in a huff, because I couldn’t draw a monkey. I still get upset and can’t settle my mind until a painting is just right. Practice, practice, practice makes perfect!

 

I have had many successful endeavors in the field of the arts from murals in kids rooms (large and small scale).  faux finishing also (large and small scale), also painting murals on ceilings, many jobs requiring scaffolding. I truly enjoy painting large murals and canvasses. I have worked in beautiful homes in Rancho Santa Fe California to homes on the vast Lake Michigan Lakeshore Drive.

 

I’ve commissioned paintings of the north American Indian, to stylizing kitchen cabinets and furniture finishes in paint, in homes in and around Indianapolis. I love adding that special touch to tastefully designed homes.

 

My latest endeavor is The Painting of Dogs, oil on canvas. This painting journey is a special journey for me. Goldie, my dog, has woven her way into  my heart big time!  She has been my inspiration in starting "The Painting of Dogs".

 

Our dearest friend the dog is the most wonderful captivating subject!  The stories behind all the friendly faces are precious to me.  And I feel it is a privilege painting one of God's most endearing creations.
